The CHEM2NATURE workshop at KAIST, organized primarily in the scope of the H2020 Twinning project “CHEM2NATURE”, is held on October 23-25, 2017 at the KAIST campus in Daejeon, Korea. This event will focus on the chemical strategies for manipulating and controlling the interfaces between natural/synthetic polymers and living cells in order to develop multifunctional systems in biomedical and healthcare applications, such as cell encapsulation, theranostics and tissue engineering. This workshop brings together world-renowned scientists and engineers, and highlights their research activities and latest results as well as providing chances to share ideas and visions.
This hands-on workshop is essentially a forum of discussion that makes it possible for students and young researchers to interact with distinguished researchers in many different sub-disciplines of chemistry, chemical engineering, biomedical engineering, etc.
